About me
MUDr. Matěj Patzelt, Ph.D. et Ph.D., is a certified plastic surgeon and the deputy head of the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady. At the university hospital, he performs the full spectrum of surgeries, ranging from hand surgery and defect coverage to breast surgery and the correction of congenital developmental defects. Dr. Patzelt is also a highly skilled microsurgeon, which enables him to perform the most complex reconstructions and replantations. However, Dr. Patzelt is most sought after by patients for breast reconstruction following mastectomy or preventive breast removal in cases of genetic mutations (BRCA, PALB2) and for the correction of asymmetries caused by surgeries or developmental defects.
He is also a leading expert in a new type of facelift in the Czech Republic—the Deep Plane Facelift, which he studied under Dr. Marchac in Paris and Dr. Nayak in the USA. In addition to facelifts, Dr. Patzelt specializes in breast surgeries, abdominoplasties, and other facial surgeries at our clinic, such as buccal fat removal (bichectomy), upper and lower eyelid surgeries, brow lifts, and lip lifts.
Dr. Patzelt also dedicates a significant amount of time to research, being the author of more than 20 publications in international scientific journals, and regularly lectures at global congresses (ISAPS, EURAPS, EPSRC, …).

In addition to these activities, he is also involved in humanitarian work. He participated in a mission in Kenya and a humanitarian MEDEVAC mission in Jordan, where he performed surgeries on child refugees.

I would like to highly recommend this clinic. I went there a week ago for breast augmentation and the consultation itself with Dr. Patzelt was great. I was afraid and still hesitated whether to go for it, but after the consultation I decided to go for it. The doctor explained everything beautifully and simply filled me with energy. What an amazing experience from consultation to post-op care! I had buccal fat removal in June 2022 and I honestly cannot express how grateful I am for the treatment I received at ABClinic. I had a breast augmentation with insertion under the muscle at Dr. Patzelt’s. He surprised me with his human but at the same time professional approach. He didn’t have an easy task with me – I really had very small breasts.
